Request to disable an account: Users can request that accounts be disabled or deleted for existing users. The example below illustrates the steps taken to disable an account. The deletion of accounts is very similar.

Login Users log in with a network login ID from any web browser.

Authentication Users are authenticated with a password.

Select existing user An existing user profile is selected to be disabled.

Disable user profile Check the intended profile and proceed to disable.

Disable request details Provide additional details including the reason for disabling the user.

Submit request ID-Synch provides a URL and batch number to allow users to check on the status of their request.

Authorizer approves request to disable user profile: Authorizers receive an e-mail notification asking them to approve or deny the request to disable user profile.

Approve request Authorizer approves the request to disable user profile.
